About the state anthem of Ukraine

Article 1. The National Anthem of Ukraine is a national anthem for M. Verbitsky's music with the words of the first couplet and chorus of P. Chubinsky's creation in the following wording:
"Ukraine still has not died, both glory and liberty,
The fate will smile us again, our yang brothers,
Our enemies will be disappeared like dew in the sun.
And we will rule on our land, brothers.
Chorus:
We will sacrifice our souls and bodies for our freedom,
And we will show that we are brothers of the Cossack kind".
Article 2. To establish that solemn events of nation-wide significance begin and end with the State Anthem of Ukraine. The musical performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine is carried out during official state ceremonies and other events.
Article 3. The desecration over the State Anthem of Ukraine entails the responsibility stipulated by law.
Article 4. This Law enters into force from the day of its publication.

STATE ANTHEM OF UKRAINE
An anthem in translation from Greek means a festive song. The State Anthem is one of the symbols of state symbols and identifies the state in international meetings, forums, sports competitions.
The State Anthem of Ukraine is the song "Ukraine still has no died", the words of Pavel Chubinsky, music by Mikhail Verbitsky. Officially, the "Musical Edition" of the State Anthem was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 15, 1992.
On March 6, 2003, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the National Anthem of Ukraine". The bill was proposed to be approved as the National Anthem of the National Anthem to the music of Mikhail Verbitsky with the words only of the first couplet and chanting of the song Pavlo Chubinsky "Ukraine till has no died". At the same time, the first stanza of the anthem, according to the president's proposal, will sound "Ukraine's glory and liberty has no died yet". This law was supported by 334 people's deputies, against 46 votes out of 433 who registered for voting. The Socialist Party and Communist Party fractions did not vote.
With the adoption of this law, Article 20 of the Constitution of Ukraine has become completed. The National anthem for M. Verbitsky's music received the words, which have been approved by law.
